We Are Braidpoint

SpeakEZ Technologies is becoming Braidpoint.

We changed the name in recognition of our work and abilities growing in ways that intertwine with present, past and future technologies. On a software level, a braid is what carries the work: control flow and data flow woven together and fitted to specific hardware. On a hardware level, the braid is a metaphor for workloads that can span CPU to GPU, NPU and even FPGA and IoT devices, as well as novel processors just entering the market. Everything is fair game with our unique tools and expertise. And those systems regardless of their makeup deserve to run efficiently and with safety and security as first class considerations.

The Braidpoint name marks a through-line we kept circling in our writing. The Uncomfortable Truth pointed out that the industry would be forced off its GPU monoculture by limits that are physical and economic, and that systems preserving efficiency on new architectures while supporting current infrastructure would be a key driver in this next technological wave.

On the security front, Not Everything Will Be Broken made the case that the right security posture comes through a hard transition intact. Take these in context with our other writings, and the braid emerges as a consequence of these principles weaving their way through the narrative.

All of this work grows with the name. Clef continues to develop as a principled, memory safe, multi-target language that can support nearly any type of processor. Our Composer compiler continues to deepen its reach into new device types. Its formalism and functionality broaden to embrace the modes becoming commonplace in the AI world facing us and the post-quantum world that’s approaching on the next horizon. The Fidelity Framework holds the software ecosystem together with tooling, libraries, and the scaffolding needed to meet modern systems engineering in a way that makes them safer, more efficient and more secure than ever.

On the hardware side, our data sovereignty work keeps growing through the Post-Quantum Credential and KeyStation . The non-extractable key and the air-gapped key-management system give any AI agentic system or enterprise security policy a post-quantum anchor.

Houston Haynes, our founder and CEO is looking forward to a keynote presentation at the Carolina Code Conference on August 14, where he will recount the “Ship of Theseus” lessons learned along the way, and a bit of the roadmap ahead.

We are Braidpoint

The principles that inspired us at founding still drive the work. The landscape they reach has opened far wider than we first pictured, and the technologies we are building are designed to meet it. Our new name fits that broader and deeper horizon, and we are excited to show the world where it leads.
